These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of FinalGradr (the "Site") and the free calculators and reference content it provides. By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What the Site is

FinalGradr offers free, browser-based grade and GPA calculators — for example, tools that estimate the score you need on a final exam, convert letter grades to grade points, or approximate GPA equivalents across grading systems. Everything runs locally in your browser; no account is needed and no payment is ever requested. The Site is supported by advertising.

2. For guidance only — no academic advice

All results are estimates for general guidance. Grading policies differ between schools, instructors and countries: cut-offs, rounding rules, weighting schemes and GPA scales vary widely, and international conversions are approximations by nature. Results from this Site are not academic, admissions or professional advice, and they do not override your syllabus, your institution's official records or your registrar. Always confirm anything important with your school before acting on it.

3. Permitted and prohibited use

You may use the Site for personal, educational and classroom purposes, and you may link to any page. You agree not to: (a) copy, scrape or republish substantial parts of the Site's content or code; (b) use automated tools to access the Site in a way that burdens or disrupts it; (c) attempt to interfere with the Site's operation, security or advertising; (d) misrepresent the Site's results as official academic records; or (e) use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

4. Intellectual property

The Site's design, text, calculators and code are owned by FinalGradr and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Product or service names of third parties mentioned on the Site belong to their respective owners. The numbers you type into a calculator are yours; we never receive or store them.

5. Advertising

The Site displays advertising served by Google AdSense and its certified partners. Advertisers, not FinalGradr, are responsible for the content of their ads, and a displayed ad is not an endorsement by us. How advertising cookies work and how to opt out is described in our Privacy & Cookie Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or uninterrupted availability. While we work to keep the calculators correct, we do not guarantee that any result, table or conversion is error-free or matches your institution's rules.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FinalGradr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages — including lost opportunities, academic outcomes or decisions made in reliance on a calculated result — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Your sole and exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction with the Site is to stop using it.

8. Changes and termination

We may add, change or retire calculators and content at any time, and we may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision, and continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate access to the Site (in whole or in part) at any time, including to users who violate these Terms.
